ISL Light donated SOS-Kinderdorf International its support tool
In order to help the SOS-Kinderdorf International to cut down on travel time and costs involved in supporting employees in other locations, ISL Light has donated its ISL Light Server License. Free to SOS-Kinderdorf International technical operators, this Server License’s stand-alone system provides a tool for an on-demand remote desktop support. In a secure remote desktop session, the SOS-Kinderdorf International operators will be able to view the other side’s desktop, gain control of their keyboard and mouse, transfer files, use the whiteboard, and even communicate via integrated text chat.
''SOS-Kinderdorf International opted for ISL Light in order to cut down on travel time and costs, yet still provide effective support to employees based outside of the organisation's headquarters. ISL Light is easy to deploy, simple to use, it renders reliable connections and is a user-friendly system. The most restrictive firewalls are no problem for ISL Light. It simply always works - without compromising the security of the overall system. The flexible licensing options are an additional benefit,'' comment the representatives of the SOS-Kinderdorf International organisation, Innsbruck.
SOS-Kinderdorf International is the umbrella organisation of more than 130 affiliated associations of national SOS Children's Villages worldwide. This private and non-governmental organisation provides more than 60,000 orphaned, abandoned and destitute children with a new family and place they can call home in more than 450 children's villages. In addition, SOS Children's Villages supports hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and their families through various social, healthcare, educational and community-outreach projects, and also helps in situations of crisis and disaster through emergency relief programmes. www.sos-childrensvllages.org.
